Panel to Ceiling. Two problems were solved with this heavy glass shower design: the hinge side did not have studs behind the travertine tiles, and the towel bar intruded on the normal opening area for a door. This was solved by running a thick fixed glass panel to the ceiling and tying into a ceiling stud. The solution brought strength, function and beauty together in a great way.
